AquaTight Stain Guard Grout Additive 72 oz.

Uses:
As an additive for cement-based grouts to increase stain, mold and mildew resistance.

Mixing
When using 25 lb bags (11.3 kg) of Sanded Grout:
1. Use in place of water for mixing grout.
2. Pour one full 72 fl oz (2.1 L) bottle of AquaTight Stain Guard Grout Additive into a clean, dry, five gallon pail. Add powder and mix to a stiff, lump free consistency.
If using a mechanical mixer, do not exceed 150 rpm and avoid whipping air into the mixture.
3. If additional liquid is required to achieve the desired consistency, up to a maximum of 2 fl oz (59 ml) of water may be used.


When using 10 lb bags (4.5 kg) of Sanded Grout:
1. Use in place of water for mixing grout.
2. Pour 29 fl oz (.8 L) of AquaTight Stain Guard Additive (approximately 40% of the bottle) into a clean, dry, five gallon pail, add powder and mix to a stiff, lump free consistency. If using a mechanical mixer, do not exceed 150 rpm and avoid whipping air into the mixture.
3. If additional liquid is required to achieve the desired consistency, up to a maximum of 2 fl oz (59 ml) of AquaTight Stain Guard Additive may be used.
4. Let stand for 10 minutes to give all ingredients time to slake. Remix and use.
5. Do not add more liquid or dry grout to the mix after slaking.


When using 25 lb bags (11.3 kg) of Unsanded Grout:
1. Use in place of water for mixing grout.
2. Pour 122 fl oz (3.5 L) of AquaTight Stain Guard Additive (approximately 1 _ bottles) into a clean, dry, five gallon pail, add powder and mix to a stiff, lump free consistency.
If using a mechanical mixer, do not exceed 150 rpm and avoid whipping air into the mixture.

When using 10 lb bags (4.5 kg) of Unsanded Grout:
1. Use in place of water for mixing grout.
2. Pour 49 fl oz (1.4 L) of AquaTight Stain Guard Grout Additive (approximately 70% of the bottle) into a clean container, add powder and mix to a lump free consistency. If using a mechanical mixer, do not exceed 150 rpm and avoid whipping air into the mixture.
3. If additional liquid is required to achieve the desired consistency, up to a maximum of 2 fl oz (59 ml) of AquaTight Stain Guard Grout Additive may be used.
4. Let stand for 10 minutes to give all ingredients time to slake. Remix and use.
5. Do not add more liquid or dry grout to the mix after slaking.
